Xanath has a degree in Culinary Arts. After cooking in Florida and New York’s kitchens for several years, she decided to step out of the kitchen and into the guest room, using her knowledge to create amazing experiences for her guests. After living and working in the Swiss Alps for almost 9 years, she is now challenging the market in the vibrant city of Basel. For her as a Restaurant Manager and her team, passion, creativity, and a love for their work simply come with the territory.

Antonio Macina

Sous Chef

Antonio Macina, a native of Bari in Puglia, Italy, began his cooking career in the kitchen of the renowned Alla Scala restaurant in the Milan Opera House under the direction of 3-star chef Gualtiero Marchesi. After three years he moved to the Hotel Belmond Villa San Michele in Florence. He gained his first experience as a Sous-chef on the luxury cruise ships of the world – the SilverSea and the Oceania. His passion and appreciation for good food, which he inherited from his mother and his Nonna Anna, he now demonstrates every night at the HERITAGE Basel.
